In Transition was formed in 1990 by a group of Fairfield University students, and has been gigging regularly ever since. The name has proven to be somewhat prophetic, with only 2 original members remaining and several line-up changes occurring over the years. The current edition of the band has been together since the fall of 1995. In Transition has played hundreds of gigs at dozens of bars, clubs and parties throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Thourgh now semi-reclusive, the band still occasionally makes mercenary appearances in Fairfield and various other surprise spots.

Tony Germinario - bass, vocal: Tony is a founding member of In Transition, and is also the bass guitarist for the New York City-based Jel, a band called by Indie-Music.Com "...one of the most talented groups to come out of the Northeast since Live broke out with their first disc..." Tony's day job is working as an Account Manager for BroadVision. He is married with 2 children and lives in New Jersey.

Bobby Morrill - guitar, vocals: Bobby, a self proclaimed "musical mercenary", joined In Transition in 1993. When not playing with the band, Bob performs most weekends as a solo artist at bars, weddings and private parties throughout New England. Though he has a repertoire of over 300 songs, Bob's "specialty" is singing Jimmy Buffett and Irish folk songs. He works as a special education teacher at West Shore Middle School. He is married, and has 2 children.

Bruce Murray - drums, vocals: The last member to join In Transition, Bruce has been with the band since 1995. A long time veteran of the local club scene, Bruce was a member of the 80's seminal party band Johnny Clam and The Chowdaheads as well as the early 90's rock band The Tripsters. By day Bruce is a Relationship Manager for Commonfund Securities, Inc. He is married and has 2 children.

Chuck O'Hara - guitar, vocals: The "man who started it all", Chuck formed In Transition with Tony when they were both students at Fairfield University in 1990, and he has stuck with it ever since. Chuck did play in a few bands prior, but insists that "none are worth mentioning!!" What is worth mentioning is that Chuck currently has his own law practice- Charles D. O'Hara, Jr., Attorney-at-Law with offices in Bridgeport and Shelton. He is married with 2 children.

A "classic rock" cover band by definition, In Transition plays songs from each decade of the rock era, ranging from Chuck Berry and Dion right up to The Strokes. The music is varied, running the gamut of the folk of Jimmy Buffett and Van Morrison to the classic 60's rock of The Beatles and Stones, from 80's "college" bands Hoodoo Gurus, The Proclaimers and Violent Femmes, to the more mainstream rock of Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Billy Joel, and John Mellencamp. All that, plus a healthy dose of The Grateful Dead thrown into the mix...
